This is Casey, a mod from WIAB. I want to address some of the opinions I’ve been seeing on this site. First of all, we mods/admins do not have “power.” I for one have all of the same songs that you do. I have no desire to be somehow “above” you. That would just be petty and silly.
There is also something that you must remember. With all of the numerous members from different countries (and different time zones) it is virtually impossible for mods to be on the site every time someone is on the site. I am in grad school, Janie has a full time job, and Mitchell and Maria are both in school. Between eating, working, and sleeping, we simply cannot be on all the time. If a disagreement or argument breaks out and a mod is not on, we cannot do anything to stop it instantaneously. If there is an argument or someone makes you feel uncomfortable please feel safe coming to us and letting us know. It is our job as mods to make sure you all feel safe and welcome on WIAB. If you don’t tell us that you are having an issue we may not know.
Our goal is to create a friendly community of Taylor fans.
